Profile: Southwest Georgia Housing Development Corporation obtained its 501(c)(3) status in 1997 and serves Randolph, Clay, Quitman, Calhoun, Stewart, Webster, and Early Counties in rural Southwest Georgia. We manage five Housing Authorities, a 20-bed Alzheimer facility, a 22-bed Personal Care Home, a pilot family drug rehabilitation facility, and several other smaller housing programs. It is our mission to further the development of affordable housing through rental and homeownership programs with emphasis on programs that have an impact on education and jobs. We seek to be the developer, partner or manager of housing in our service area.
